Located at the Belle Isle Golf Range, Adam White and AW Golf Detroit help golfers of all levels and abilities enjoy the game of golf through a guided learning experience. Golfers will not be told to swing like any professional or advanced player. A swing blueprint will be created for each person’s unique body and capabilities. Training and understanding the fundamentals of the golf swing will be the focus. With an extensive background in teaching the game, Adam loves helping players find enjoyment in the process of improvement. Working with an individual or in pairs, there are options designed to meet each golfer where they stand along their journey.
More about Adam White…Adam grew up around the game with a father that was a PGA pro at a local golf course. He began caddying at age 14, and at age 15, caddied for the US Women’s Amateur semi-finalist (1998). That’s when he found a passion for the game, winning first junior tournament at age 16.
He continued working in golf after, working in the golf course bag room and cart barn. He worked summers through college working as club fitter for Adams Golf and TaylorMade. While working in club fitting for almost 15 years, his passion for helping golfers through better equipment transitioned to a passion for teaching and helping golfers improve in the most impactful way. Adam turned professional and began teaching in 2020.
Observing many types of swings that worked, he never believed in a “model swing” coaching method. He teaches based on a system through a screening process that finds the optimal swing based on a player’s unique body composition and physical capabilities. Adam enjoys teaching golfers of all skill levels and abilities. He is excited to be teaching at Belle Isle Golf Center.
